"Thank you to everyone for my care"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department University Hospital Monklands / Stroke/Medicine for the Older Adult

(as the patient),

Always hearing about complaints about NHS never praises. I've just experienced a stay at Monkland's. I had symptoms of a stroke. My GP phoned ahead and I was expected in A&E. I was seen promptly. Then admitted. The care I received from admission to discharge was outstanding, from porters to auxiliaries, medical doctors, specialists. Today I returned for an MRI scan and again the staff were outstanding. So patient, explained everything that the scan would in involve and help put a very nervous patient at ease. Thank you to everyone for my care

Dear egrbr79

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such positive feedback to the teams involved in your care during your recent admission to hospital, and subsequent outpatient MRI appointment.

I will be sure to send on your comments to all the teams you mention above this afternoon, and I know they will be delighted to hear that you found the care they provided outstanding.

I'm so glad you felt that the process for your MRI was explained clearly, and in a way that put you more at ease.

I sincerely hope you are feeling much better, and thank you again for letting us know about your experiences at University Hospital Monklands.

Best wishes

Nichola
