"Exemplary treatment at minor injuries"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

I was clumsy at home and tripped, catching my elbow on the corner of the wall.  This caused a laceration to the tip of my elbow.  After noticing blood dripping off me, I realized the wound would need to be stitched.

I managed to drive myself to the Royal Infirmary and got to the Minor Injuries Unit.  I was seen very quickly and had exemplary treatment from ENP Sammie and Kara.  I'm a fellow NHS employee and it is this treatment that makes the NHS as valuable as it is today.  Just want to say thanks to both ladies for the kindness, warmth and making me feel comfortable during quite a ''yuk'' procedure.
