"I was treated with care and respect"

I recently had to have a day procedure at Dr Gray's, Ward 1. From our arrival at 8am until my discharge, I was treated with care and respect. The staff explained everything clearly and were extremely professional. Their tone was also friendly and that helped me, a very anxious patient, feel more at ease and safe.

The endoscopist introduced himself before the procedure and was also friendly and professional. Every action and the course of events were explained to me, so that I felt informed. My husband was not forgotten in the waiting area, and was encouraged to come and sit with me.

I was also informed timeously of the result of the procedure. (although I didn't need biopsies, which would of course delay results.) It's those small things that show staff truly care. I would like to extend my thanks to all the staff, for making the whole process smooth and pleasant.
