"Staff are friendly and professional"

About: NHS Western Isles / Podiatry

(as a parent/guardian),

My son attended podiatry earlier in the year. After some time, the problem he had recurred. I contacted the department to explain what had happened and try to find out if his case was still open or whether he would need to be re-referred. I had a call back the same day and an appointment was arranged for the start of the following week.

I was grateful for the prompt call back, and an appointment being arranged so soon. All arranged by a very friendly and professional administrator. We were seen promptly when we attended for our appointment, and everything was clearly explained to my son and me throughout.

When things work well, and staff are friendly and professional as here, it makes such a difference, especially when you’re a younger, slightly nervous, patient! Thank you for a positive experience.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this lovely feedback. We’re delighted to hear that your son’s experience with our service was positive and that everything was clearly explained throughout his appointment.

It’s great to know that our administrator’s prompt and professional response helped to arrange an appointment quickly, and that the team made your son feel comfortable and supported. We understand how important this is, especially for younger patients who may feel a little nervous.

Your comments mean a lot to us and will be shared with the whole team. They work hard every day to provide the best possible care, and feedback like this reminds us why that effort matters.

Thank you again for your kind words.
