Both my son and I attended ED in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, he the Paeds ED and me the adult ED.
My son was treated quickly, professionally and really kindly with the whole visit taking less than 2 hours. He is home with a 'moonboot' and the knowledge that he has fractured a bone in his foot, what to do to help heal it, and a worsening statement.
I had several xrays and the team from the clerical team at reception, the ED Nurse Practitioner, the radiographer and everyone in between were the height of professional, kind and made a sore experience better with humour and analgesia.
Both myself and my son, were in and out in no time at all! Thank you to you all, super grateful for what you do!
