"I was a Day Surgery Patient"

I recently attended for foot surgery. On my arrival my staff nurse introduced herself straight away. She gave me a run down on what to expect and who would assist me, I.e my surgeon and Anaesthetist. Leanne was her name. She was young but very efficient, kind and went above and beyond with such a high standard of care. In my opinion she was the epitome of what a nurse should be and an inspiration for all staff. She looked after me exceptionally well pre and post op. She continually checked on me to make sure my needs were met and appeared to genuinely  care about my well being.

I would also like to praise all the other  staff involved in my care. Truly professional,  caring individuals who delivered with compassion and kindness. Often we heat such negative news regarding the NHS  but I cannot praise Leanne and all the other team highly enough. I will be forever grateful .
