"Fatigue Management Course was a game-changer"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Outpatients Occupational Therapy

(as the patient),

I recently attended this course run by Occupational Therapy.

I found the course content and peer support extremely helpful.  Prior to attending, I had told myself that fatigue was something I would just have to put up with for the rest of my life but the course proved that there are steps I can take to alleviate this debilitating symptom.

My outlook is far more positive.  I've started exercising and feel more energised.  I'm also more aware of how negative thoughts have a detrimental effect on how I feel and behave.

Many thanks to Jacqui, Jenny and Sarah for your encouragement, support and sound advice, it's very much appreciated.
