"Day surgery unit, Queen Margaret Hospital"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

Having broken my wrist I had a scheduled surgery at QMH. From the point of reception I was never left alone, given clear information and treated with compassion and respect throughout the whole visit.

The team at this unit deserve to be recognised not only for their skills in preparation,  theatre, anesthesia and recovery but their diligence in recording and checking at every stage and most of all for their beautiful humanity in the face of a most challenging work environment.

If one were to ever need faith restored this is the place to be.

Hopefully your comments will help future patients be at ease coming in for their surgery. I will share your very kind words with the team who will appreciate them very much.
