"Caring and compassionate staff"

I recently had an appointment in QEUH in the EPA unit. I was extremely anxious as I wasn’t feeling very well and from the minute I entered my anxiety was put at bay by the reassurance and comfort from Tracey, the HCSW she was so caring and compassionate and she made sure I got further treatment to help reassure me and check me over with her colleagues.

Next, I was met with midwife Eileen who I have met previously, she is an absolute credit to the NHS and the EPAU especially! She is fit to the mould for the type of person who should be working within a setting like the EPAU, she spent a lot of time ensuring everything was ok and checking me over, she made sure I was informed with all the info I needed before I left and that I was reassured all my anxieties were just anxiety!

Both of these ladies and the others within the office area were so pleasant, welcoming and understanding they are a great team and have made me feel so much at ease about my next appointment.
