I was in Craigavon a&e for 3 days awaiting a bed in Haematology. Thankfully nurses got me a bed but I was sat on the corridor in the green area, unable to sleep due to the noise and people and patients constantly walking past you. How can people be left in chairs and corridors for days on end it is an absolute disgrace. I couldn't even have a shower as there was no shower facilities in a&e and it's basic human rights to be able to have a shower. Seeing doctors on ward rounds and them examining and discussing ur medical problems with people all around the corridor to see is a disgrace and no privacy. Something needs done. I was told if I couldn't get a bed on Hematology I would get one on the medical ward but still left for 3 days in a corridor is not ok.
