"I finally felt heard, listened to and respected"

I met Dr Clough in clinic recently for a second opinion, this was my first time seeing Gastro in Exeter. She was nothing but kind, empathic, compassionate, caring, understanding and spoke to me in such a kind way. She explained everything perfectly in a way that i could understand. She really showed understanding of my thoughts and concerns, i finally felt heard, listened to and respected.

Dr Clough demonstrated the NHS trust values to the highest of standard and i finally felt safe under a clinicians care which is a relief. Feel guilty for how long the appointment went on for - totally unaware of time. Also gave me choices throughout which i appreciated.

I would just like to say the most heartfelt of thank yous to Dr Clough for all of the above. Sadly i was super nervous due to previous experiences and annoyed at my self for not asking questions i had written down but totally my own fault. 10 **** services from Dr Clough.
