"The sessions were fun and enjoyable"

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer after having very few symptoms. I was operated on in a short time and given the all clear. I was told that I would need check ups and blood tests over the next 5 years and thought that was that.

To my suprise I was then contacted and asked if I would like to attend a fitness class to help me recover which I accepted. To start with I was on my own doing gentle exercises but was soon joined by someone else who had had the same op. The team increased the intensity of the exercises each week but we also had a laugh so the sessions were fun and enjoyable.
