"My stay in day surgery"

I was admitted to day surgery at forth valley hospital for 4 nights whilst I awaited surgery on my breast due to an infection that was melting away my milk ducts. The staff in day surgery went above and beyond for me, ensuring I was as comfortable as possible, easing my pain the best they could and chatting away to me so I didn’t feel lonely. I would especially like to thank nurse Ashley, nurse Isabel, nurse Rachel, student nurse Richard and Lara and support worker Rachel for building a therapeutic relationship with me and allowing me to feel comfortable, supported and cared for. I cannot thank yous all enough! The team at day surgery really do strive to improve lives and provide high standard quality care. I hope in the future, to cross paths again not as a patient but as a nursing assistant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
