"Professionalism"

I had to attend out of hours one Friday night as I had abdominal pain and back pain. Someone I know professionally, Nicola, seen me. It's not always easy treating someone you know, never mind someone you work with, however Nicola was very professional throughout my consultation and examination. Her knowledge and experience is second to none. She instantly put me at ease even though I was extremely anxious and in pain. Nicola arranged for bloods to be taken and for me to attend RACU the next day for a scan. Everything was seamless. Nurses don't always get told they're doing a good job but I believe credit should be given where credit is due. Thanks Nicola for being amazing at what you do and thanks for looking after me so well.
