"Such gentle care"

About: General Surgery / General Surgery (Ward 7 & 8)

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Ward 7 after midnight a few weeks ago with pains in my Bowel. After X-rays and then a CT scan. After the scan it was found I had a blocked Bowel. After such gentle care by everyone, so many I just can not remember their names but I must mention Nurse Bee. Nurse Baba and of course Callum who went way beyond the call of duty. After 3 nights in Ward 7 I was transferred to Ward 8. The same level of care was provided while there as well from Nurses, Assistants and the ward Cleaner (Michelle) who helped with my recovery. Special mention must go to my consultant and of course my Dr (Abdull). All hero’s don’t wear capes. All recovered now after a few blips at home. Many thanks to you all
