"My daughters hidden harm support"

About: Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery Service - STARS / Young People (T3)

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was referred to T3 for hidden harm support, Danielle has helped her rebuild her relationship with her mum, greatly improved my daughter's anxieties and sleep pattern, she seems a lot happier, less anxious and benefiting from improved sleep.

My daughter immediately connected with Danielle and opened up with her, I was worried that this would be an issue but she made my daughter feel really relaxed. She has become a more confident child.

Hi magpiekd45

I am Liz the T3 manager thank you for taking the time to provide feedback of the support your daughter received from Danielle which I will share with her and the team.

It is so lovely to hear of the positive changes your daughter has made from the work delivered by Danielle, we always try to offer a holistic approach to the sessions for young people as we understand there are many elements associated with the impact from a parent's use of substances which often includes sleep issues.

You must feel very proud of the way she has engaged and taken on the advice that was offered from Danielle as this takes trust, motivation and engagement which your daughter has demonstrated in sessions along with courage to be open around the worries she was facing.

It must be rewarding for you to see her grow in confidence and be experiencing less anxieties as she now starts to rebuild relationships with her Mum.

I would like to wish you all happiness for a bright future.

Liz
