"I know that I’m not alone"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Lymphoedema Clinic/Service

(as a service user),

I had an appointment with Audrey to get a fitting for support stockings and socks. This is the 3rd time I’ve met with Audrey and each time I’ve attended she has been great.

She makes me feel at ease, is really knowledgeable and makes me feel good when I’m there. Giving compliments and advice when self esteem is low. The other nurses are great too, everyone is so helpful with assisting me to get dressed etc as I need support with this.

Attending this clinic is really supportive to manage my condition as no-one else understands the pain associated with it and the impact it has on your mental health. I know that I’m not alone and can pick up the phone if I have to, which is reassuring.

Thank you to all the nurses in the clinic. It means more than you know.
