"Broken ankle"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Radiology Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a relative),

A relative suffered an injured ankle and was cared for at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary A&E.

He was seen within a few minutes of arrival, triaged and seen by a Dr and Medical student who after an X-ray  diagnosed a fracture. Thankfully the break was in a good position and he had a boot applied and was given crutches. His treatment is ongoing but all his care was seamless throughout.

In a time of pressures within the NHS much praise and thanks for those involved in his care.
