"So very helpful"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Occupational Therapy

(as the patient),

I feel compelled to tell the story of my experience with NHS Lanarkshire Occupational Therapy Service. My wonderful GP offered me referral to this service as she thought it would be of benefit to me. I have to say the lady I was assigned to was so very helpful. She listened to me and suggested strategies and signposted me to other services which she felt would help me come to terms with the life changing health events I was experiencing.

At the time I was not able to accept the changes in my life and only put into regular practice some of her advice. However, she emailed me all the information she was providing and over the past year I have gradually took on board and implemented most, if not all of her advice. Thank you for doing the wonderful job you do. You are much appreciated.

Dear Smiler67,

Many thanks for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience of working alongside Primary Care Occupational Therapy.

I am delighted to read of your positive experience with our service. Its great to know that the stratgies ad support offered have enabled you to implement some positive changes.

I wonder if you would be so kind as to share the name of your occupational therapist/ GP surgery so we can ensure this lovely feedback is shared with them directly.

We are always grateful for all feedback received, it really does provided a welcomed boost to the team.

Kind regards,

Amanda
