My child was knocked down by a car at a pedestrian crossing. He was hit a quite a force maybe 30 to 40 mph. He was thrown in the air and knocked unconscious. I was obviously extremely worried and upset and it was the not knowing how he was going to be that was the main worry. He was with his older brother that said he was floppy and thought he had broke his back. Physically he was absolutely fine and it was quite a miracle that he didn’t break any bones, but the trauma of the event has stayed with him and the whole family. The paramedics/ trauma team and hospital care was amazing .
