"Great attitude"

About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had my second C-section at Dr Grays in September this year. After such a horrible experience with my first recovery at Raigmore in 2018, I cant praise the midwives and staff at Dr Grays enough. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their attitude towards helping me recover at my own pace was great. The only down side was when asking for help with something, sometimes they were so short staffed, they were being pulled from pillar to post so you'd have either a long wait or it seemed they'd forget but these were always small things that I understood could wait due to the staffing issue on the ward.

Congratulations on the birth of your second baby.

I am delighted to hear that you had a positive experience on Ward 3, and that you felt cared for and supported to recover from your caesarean section at your own pace.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about the frustrations experienced with waiting for care during busy times, and thank you for your understanding.

I hope you are settling into life with your new baby.
