"I found it really helpful to talk things out"

About: Talking Therapies Doncaster

(as a service user),

I came here looking for help finding work as I did not have any prior experience and was finding it difficult applying. I received bi-weekly meetings to talk about how to structure CV and responses to interviews, help with preparing for interviews, and help with organising things within my life to have a clear goal to work towards.

I found it really helpful to talk things out, he was really kind and supportive, let me take things at my own pace, giving suggestions and helping me understand things better.

Hi gammatn88,

Thank you for sharing your lovely feedback about your experience with our service. My name is Jen, and I’m a Team Manager with NHS Doncaster Talking Therapies.

I’m really glad to hear that the support you received helped you feel more confident and organised in your job search. It’s great that the bi-weekly meetings, CV guidance, and interview preparation made a positive difference for you. I’m especially pleased that you felt comfortable taking things at your own pace and found the suggestions useful, and it’s fantastic to hear you're moving towards your goals.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your story.

Kind Regards,
Jen
