"Outstanding GP service"

About: St. Katherine's Dock Practice

(as the patient),

I called my GP at noon to get a consultation with the doctor for an ear infection that had been ongoing for 3 days. I was dosed up on pain killers and hoped it would just get better but no such luck. The receptionist was very efficient and booked me in for the following morning which I consider to be a good level of service.

Twenty minutes later, the receptionist phoned me again and said the doctor can see you now if you want to come in. This was his lunchbreak/admin time between his morning and afternoon surgery. I popped in 10 minutes later and was given a thorough and examination and had the condition explained.

The doctor then prescribed antibiotics from my local pharmacy. He then phoned the pharmacy to check they had the drug he had prescribed in stock.  This is outstanding (but not exceptional) service from the surgery.

The GP service in St Katherine Docks is a the best I have ever experienced and other people are amazed when I tell them of the standard of service I and other in the dock receive.
