"One parent policy"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as other),

I feel the one parent policy whilst waiting in A&E with your unwell child is a bit unfair. I would like to know the clinical justification for being able to have one parent in the waiting room and as many as you would like in a cubicle?

Adults A&E does not implement this policy despite their waiting room always being busier.

My child is autistic and requires the support of two adults to keep her safe however this reason was deemed not good enough.

Please reconsider this policy or at least how it is implemented.
