"The NHS needs more Doctors like this"

I visited Monklands hospital recently to attend an appointment with my son,  at the outpatient respiratory clinic.  We were called on time, and were greeted by a lovely doctor, Dr. Mulla.  Dr. Mulla was very welcoming and immediately put my son at ease (he is a young adult). He discussed my sons recent diagnosis, took a detailed history of respiratory problems my son has had since birth, he explained the results of the tests my son had taken prior to entering the consultation, and then explained how he would like to proceed. 

The whole time we were in his room, Dr Mulla made us feel relaxed.  He encouraged us to ask questions and happily provided answers to the questions that we asked.  He was careful to explain in a way my son would understand and did not lose us with medical jargon.  Dr Mulla is an absolute credit to NHS Lanarkshire. We both left the consultation feeling Dr. Mulla was genuinely interested in achieving the best outcome for my son. The NHS needs more doctors like Dr. Mulla!
