The CoMC team took care of me through my entire pregnancy, labour and early post natal care. I cannot say enough about this service and how important it is for women going through pregnancy and birth.

From booking I was seen by Aimee, a very talented and experienced midwife, who made sure I received all the appropriate care, from testing to physio. She was always available for any queries or help I needed, providing advice and reassurance, right up until the day before delivery. Aimee made my pregnancy stress free and I honestly count myself very lucky to have had such a brilliant midwife providing consistent care for me throughout my pregnancy.

Olivia delivered my baby girl, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to do it. She was an incredibly calm presence and it was clear she was there for me no matter what, she truly kept me as priority and made sure I was heard. During my birth I had to go to theatre for a possible emergency ceasarian. It was a tense environment and the doctors were obviously very busy and focused. When I was very worried and tried to get some reassurance, I was not getting a response from anyone, but Olivia spoke up for me and ensured the doctors and surgeons answered me. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this, in that moment I felt heard because of Olivia, she is a big part of why I view my birth (VBAC) in such a positive light.

The team seen me post-birth and ensured me and the baby were both recovering and progressing well. Niamh called to see me after I contacted the team in the week after birth and really reassured me about worries I had, I can't thank her enough. I cannot express how grateful I am to this team of amazing women. Being seen consistently by the same midwife who knew me and my situation was so reassuring. I always looked forward to my appointments with this team so much. I can compare this to my care during my previous pregnancy in 2022 and honestly this service made such a positive impact on me, at every stage of pregnancy. This team is an absolute credit to the maternity services in NI and I hope this service will be offered to all women in NI in the future.
