"I cannot fault a single aspect of the care I received"

(as the patient),

I was in the Day Surgery Unit recently, and I honestly can’t thank the staff enough for the care they gave me. I was welcomed by a friendly face, a nurse called Sharon, who brought me into the unit and introduced me to the team. Before my surgery, Elspeth carried out all my pre-op checks—she was so friendly and cheery, and really helped put me at ease.

Post-op, poor Cheryl had the pleasure of looking after me. As a nurse myself, I know we can make the worst patients, so apologies if I was a bit of a nightmare! 🫣

In all sincerity, I cannot fault a single aspect of the care I received—from the nursing staff, the theatre team, and my surgeon, Dr Kumar. Everything was clearly explained, and I was given excellent post-op advice. The whole experience means I wouldn’t feel nervous at all if I ever had to return.
