"They were so caring and non-judgemental"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Same Day Admissions Unit

(as the patient),

I recently had to attend the Same Day Admissions Unit to prepare for a hysterectomy, I wanted to advise of the care and attention I received from the staff, sadly I can't remember the nurse's or student's name I was was nervous. But they were so caring and non-judgemental and on what was an extremely anxious day they made me feel safe and cared for. They explained everything thoroughly, helped me with my gown and socks, and I can't thank them enough for their care on what was a very tough day. They were extremely busy and I was first in theatre but they made sure nothing was too much bother for them. They made the pre-theatre process easier for me and for this I am extremely grateful.
