"Always treated as an individual and loved by all the staff"

About: Murray Royal Hospital / Garry Ward

(as a relative),

My sister and I are leaving this feedback as family, regarding the care of my father.

My father was admitted at the beginning of the year, due to Vascular Dementia.

They needed to get his medication sorted before being transferred to a care home.

He has been treated with the utmost respect and dignity. He is very well cared for by staff who are very person centred toward my father.

It has enhanced his quality of life and met his need in all respects.

They are very supportive towards my Dad when he becomes anxious and emotional at times.

When my father becomes emotional, which is quite often, they are very supportive and Dad is very much loved in Garry ward.

The senior charge nurse is very fond of my father and always makes sure he is settled and okay.

They always make sure Dad is well dressed, clean and tidy.

My Dad is always involved in activities, and gets out around the gardens and the hospital.

Staff always involve family if there are any issues with Dad, or his care and support.

I am able to speak to my father on the phone on a regular basis.

Dad is always treated as an individual and loved by all the staff.
