"My wonderful physio"

About: Adult Health and Social Care Localities / Rehab Services Barrhead

(as the patient),

Hi, I was bitten by a tick in June 2025 & I’m suffering from Lyme disease. I was in hospital in August and unable to walk & in great pain because my doctor didn’t think it was a tick & after 2 months my infection exploded in my organism & my immune system was greatly damaged. The hospital advised that I needed a physiotherapists to come to my home to help me and they sent me Lois.

I can only praise & thank her. Not only she was great in showing me the way to do the exercises, with patience & care,  but with her manners & talking to me cheerfully, helping my emotional & mental health tremendously, I looked forward to her visits as a breath of fresh air, as I live alone & I wasn’t able to leave the house because I couldn’t walk & I have no energy, from been a very fit person & walked for miles, I can’t now. Lois chat & kind words have been a really great help to find my way to recovery. Thank you so much Lois!!
