"My recent foot surgery"

The staff were excellent - friendly, helpful, couldn’t do enough to help.  Being admitted at 9.30am and not having my procedure until 1.30pm wasn’t great - I’m not good at fasting that long! However I appreciate that it’s not an exact science and some procedures take longer than expected.

I felt there could have been a bit more time with the physio - all they did was measure up for crutches and explain how to use them and whilst their advice was all very good there was no mention of the Barouk boot that I was going to be wearing and no assistance in how to walk properly wearing it. I found the info I needed online, but it’s a small change that would make a big difference.  

The anaesthetist was excellent - I had no sickness afterwards and I couldn’t even see where the canula had been. All round I received excellent care and the member of staff in the day surgery unit who looked after me post surgery was absolutely brilliant.
