"Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts"

Back in May, we welcomed our beautiful daughter by elective c section. The theatre staff were incredible, reassuring me at every step and holding my hand when I was scared. One member of staff even got some amazing photos of our baby being delivered!

Unfortunately she became unwell and was moved to the neonatal unit. After discovering she was having seizures, the staff were just beyond amazing. The nurses and doctors not only provided the absolute best care for our girl, but they also cared for us too. They would always answer all of our (many!) questions and send us photos in the middle of the night when we desperately missed her. They looked after her with genuine love and despite it being one of the hardest time of our lives, we knew that when we left her each evening, she would be showered with cuddles and never left to cry. They were also fantastic with our two older boys, and the ward psychologists even provided tailored support for our oldest son who is neurodivergent . 

We owe the unit so much and we will forever be grateful for all that they’ve done for our family. our daughter is now almost six months old and doing so well. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
