"Cataract op"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Day Surgery Unit Vale of Leven General Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was a bit apprehensive not knowing what to expect was quite scared, however I arrived at vale of leven hospital  and staff were very nice & helpful.

I went to the day ward and every member of the staff put me at ease talked me through everything. Consultant Dr Johnson performed the op, talked me through as she done it, and after it explained to me everything she done ..I never felt one single bit of pain, never even felt uncomfortable.

After when I was given tea & biscuits staff were still very attentive to me.

I am now on list for the other eye and I have no hesitation at all. Actually looking forward to it.
