It all started with a soar throat in mid September. I went to the GP. I was given medication. I went home.2 hours later my son found me in distress. He rushed me to the northern general hospital š„ Sheffield. After that, I don't remember anything. 6 hrs later. I was transferred to the Hallamshire hospital. I was diagnosed with a rare infection. Epiglotittis. Thanks to the wonderful care I received. My life was saved. 10 days on a ventilator. All started with a throat infection. I can't thank the team enough on K 2. if it wasn't for them I would not be here today.
