"Welcoming and calming"

About: Sidwell Street Clinic / Exeter Sexual Health

(as the patient),

I rang up a week ago with worry about my iud, was causing me pain and i just wanted to get it checked. I was met with a welcoming, calming response and was given an appointment with little groveling.

During the appointment the 2 women were so friendly and did everything in the power to make my experience as calm and pain free as possible. At no point did i feel rushed or embarrassed. When the check up went well at no point did they make me feel stupid or dramatic for coming in when nothing was wrong if fact they encouraged me to come back if i was ever worried again.

I cant thank theese women enough.

Dear Lilz25,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.

We're really pleased to hear that from the moment you called, you felt welcomed, listened to, and supported. It’s completely understandable to want your IUD checked when something doesn’t feel right, and we’re glad you reached out.

We’re delighted to hear that the clinicians you saw were able to make the appointment comfortable, calm, and unrushed for you. Your wellbeing both physical and emotional is always our priority. We’re especially happy that you felt reassured and encouraged to return anytime you need us.

you can reach us on 0300 303 3989

Warm regards,
Dorathy
