"Exemplary hospital stay and follow up care"

About: Arbroath Infirmary / Urology Occupational Therapy / Community Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy Services / Angus Community Physiotherapy

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Ninewells hospital with a severe UTI. I became delirious and was transferred to Arbroath Infirmary. During my stay there the care of the nursing and medical staff was exemplary and this was complemented by the daily care of the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams. I was very ill and frail and only with their dedication was I  able to return home after 5 weeks. The care at home continued with a care package put in place and follow ups from both Occupational and Physiotherapists.

I cannot praise them enough and know that without their help and dedication I would not be back at home today. Thank you

I am so sorry to hear that you were so unwell but was pleased to hear that the level of care you experienced in Arbroath Infirmary helped you on your road to recovery and that you are now home. I will pass on your kind words to the team who will be delighted to hear them.
