"This support has made a real difference in my son’s life"

Over the past year my son has been supported through the IPS service with Sam, and I want to express how grateful we are for the care and dedication shown throughout this time. From the very beginning, Sam has taken the time to understand his needs, his challenges and his goals, and has supported him with genuine patience and commitment.

My son has learning needs and needed help in several areas of his life on top of employment and the support we have received has always been valuable and reliable. We were helped with his benefits and Housing which has been another long standing worry, and the help we received during that period made us feel reassured that we were not dealing with it alone, recently, the focus has been on employment, and the encouragement and practical support offered has made such a positive difference. My son has grown in confidence, and I can see the impact that this service has had on his wellbeing and his sense of hope for the future. He is now working part time, and thriving despite some initial panic.

What stands out most is that we have always felt listened to and treated wonderfully , and Sam always brings a smile no matter what. As a mother, it means so much to see someone genuinely care about my son’s progress and treat him as an individual, not just a case on a caseload.

I want to say thank you for the time, the effort and the compassion that has been shown to us. This support has made a real difference in my son’s life and in mine, and we are truly grateful x
