About: Community Midwifery / Birth at Home Team Community Midwifery / Craigavon & Banbridge

(as a service user),

I gave birth to my third daughter at home in August 2025 (first dgt born in CAH, 2nd dgt born at home).

Throughout my final trimester of this pregnancy i was supported by the home birthing team and had the pleasure of meeting midwives Paula, Sadie, Cherith and Donna. This team showed me compassion, shared their knowledge, maintained professionalism and provided me with confidence and encouragment to birth my baby at home.

Paula provided my care when my baby girl was born. She is an exceptional midwife who has a true love for her career and went above and beyond to provide care to my newborn baby and myself.

I would strongly recommend this team to anyone considering a home birth.

Big shout out of THANKS to the midwives in the Home Birthing Team.

Firstly congratulations on the birth of your daughter!

Thanks also for taking the time to write such lovely words. As a manager I am very proud of this team and all midwives involved. I will ensure they see this and delighted that you had a lovely experience of birth at home.
