"Hysterectomy surgery"

About: St John's Hospital / Gynaecology St John's Hospital / Theatres and Recovery

(as the patient),

I was quite nervous about the surgery, however from the moment I arrived the staff put me at ease and assisted me through the process.  Every member of staff (the porters, nurses, consultants and surgeons) were engaging and considered of the procedure and what I was feeling.

Dear Gibby 0107,

Thank you so much for your kind feedback. I'm happy to hear that your experience at SJH was such a positive one and I hope you are recovering well after your procedure.

On behalf of the nursing staff, I’d especially like to thank you for recognising their role in your care, especially on reducing the nervous feelings you had prior to your surgery. As nurses we strive to ensure that all our patients feel safe, supported, and well cared for throughout their journey and it means a great deal to have that acknowledged.
Your appreciation will be shared with the team and will certainly lift spirits.

Warm regards

Maxine
