"How I dealt with my grandad passing and current worries"

About: Community Services (AMH) / Early Intervention Team

(as the patient),

My grandad passed away august 2024 and it made loss a lot of sleep and feel like I couldn’t talk to anyone because they had there own issues. I just lost my job at the time. This lead me to have a psychosis episode where I see unusual things and felt like my hands was bigger then my face and I looked different in the mirror. I also had a panic attack. I rang 111 where they gave appointment at Doncaster Hospital and after I told them what happened they contacted the crisis team. Where I met my therapist Barry who helped me with problem solving and to control my worries and what to do to relax myself. Barry was very helpful and always made me feel like I was doing really well at tough times. I’m glad I got to meet to him.
