My Father, recently required hospital care due to a significant fracture. He was discharged home with some Rehab support. Unfortunately, he became physically unwell. The GP was unable to attend and he is unable to attend a practice currently. He deteriorated rapidly and we had to call 999. The paramedics were fantastic and they contacted the OOH GP service, who agreed to attend my Father's home.
Both my Father and I, can't adequately described in words, the care and compassion shown by Dr Sho from the service. She took so much time with my father, chatting to him and listening to his bygone stories. His little dog, Frankie, adored her and we think the feeling was mutual!
In our opinion, this Dr is exceptional and my Father wished I reiterate, that he has never experienced such care and kindness from a Dr. Her approach made the world of difference to my dad, whom despite a nasty infection, felt reassured and cared about
