I had septoplasty to fix a deviated septum. The pre surgery appointment (Bideford Hospital) the week before was excellent, everyone was friendly, accommodating and empathetic.
I got to the hospital (Barnstaple) for my surgery at 730am and was treated like a guest and accommodated for no matter what I needed. The surgeon, anaesthetist and nurse all came to see me separately and were super helpful in answering questions and made me feel reassured, safe and confident in the procedure.
Being put under was handled very professionally and I felt like I was in good hands. The care from the nurses after the surgery was excellent, they were all extremely nice and helpful. Would just like to say thank you for their constant attentiveness and kindness - they were non-stop.
