"Care we received for birth of our child"

The care we received throughout labour, an emergency C-section and on the ward after was outstanding. 

We are so grateful to all of the staff at the Princess Royal Maternity, at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Thank you to Lucie, our midwife on the antenatal ward - your kindness and gentleness shone through. 

Thank you to Molly, our midwife in the labour ward, who kept us calm as before, during and after the C- section. 

Thank you to the obstetric team, Consultant Rachel and Registrar Steven. We felt safe under your care and the communication of what was happening was exemplary. 

Thank you to Sarah, the anaesthetic registrar for looking after us in the operating theatre.

Thank you to the midwives in the post-natal ward who helped with breastfeeding, especially Bernie and Amanda.
