"Support for my elderly mother"

Dear Community Health Therapy Team,

I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to Anneli and Sophie for their recent visit to assess my mother and our home setup following her fall. They both spent so much time getting to know our situation, understanding where the gaps in our home care are, and offering us thoughtful, practical solutions. Their kindness, empathy, and professionalism made a real difference to us at what has been a very difficult and emotional time.

Sophie, as a trainee therapy student, was particularly wonderful with my mum. She carried out her observations with great care and sensitivity, showing real compassion and patience. My mum, who has severe dementia, responded beautifully to her gentle and engaging manner.

Both Anneli and Sophie were incredibly supportive, not only to my mum but also to my dad and me. Their visit left us feeling reassured and better equipped to continue providing care at home. I also deeply appreciate their offer to stay in touch and to reach out for further support when needed.
