"ED attendance"

About: South West Acute Hospital / Emergency Care and Medicine Services

(as a parent/guardian),

I had to bring my daughter to the department last night.

I have to say that our experience was nothing but positive right from admission to discharge which was so quick but thorough nonetheless.

I do need to highlight Caoimhe and Lauren from the nursing team and also Paul from the medical team however all staff that I encountered was positive and every one asked if we were being sorted.

I am acutely aware of the pressures that everyone is under in the current climate but to see the positivity from the entire team in ED is encouraging.

Dear Patrick

On behalf of the Emergency department, I would like to thank you for posting such a lovely post on this platform, in respect of an episode of care, which was directed towards your daughter.

I shall ensure that Caoimhe, Lauren and Paul are made aware of your post as will all members of the team.

No doubt, your kind words will encourage and motivate all the staff, as you say, in the current environment of increased pressures.

Finally, I hope this post finds you and your daughter well.

Kindest regards

John Kerr
