I recently attended the NTC, Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, Fife, for a full knee replacement.
My treatment both in the lead up to my visit and through my whole operation experience at the hospital was first class.
Everyone was amazing but I would particularly like to thank Tanya who checked me in on arrival, explained what would all be happening, and introduced me to other members of staff through the process and then took me through to my lovely room.
Also special mention to James who came down to take me up to surgery and kept me calm, keeping me informed until I was lying back listening to my playlist as things got underway.
The facility itself is spacious and well designed, I particularly noticed the artwork visible from the trolley looking up as I was wheeled along.
If I could come back and give every member of staff a big hug I would do.
Well done all.
