"Fantastic Team"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Breast Clinic Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Xrays & Scans

(as a relative),

My grandmother attended the breast clinic recently and was asked to attend for Mammogram, USS and biopsy. This was an emotional experience for both her and us as family

After these tests, we were asked to re-attend the breast clinic. It turns out my Gran has breast cancer.

I can't thank all the staff involved for their care, compassion and professionalism. My Gran is very elderly and hard of hearing, and staff were so kind and adapted their communication to ensure she heard and understood.

Breast clinic staff - Mr Paolini and Jo (breast care nurse)

Mammogram/Radiology staff - Michaela, Fiona, Amanda.

I'd also like to thank Miss Cannings. She referred my gran for a CT scan for a different reason and this is how the lump was detected.

Please know, I appreciate you all and can't thank you enough!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this thoughtful feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your grandmother’s diagnosis, and we understand how emotional and difficult this experience must be for her and for your family.

We are deeply grateful for your kind words about the care provided by our teams. Your appreciation means a great deal to all the staff involved.

We send our very best wishes to your grandmother and your family as she continues with her care.
