"Found it very informative"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Pulmonary Rehabilitation

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have just finished my course of rehab at Stobhill.  I was gutted to have missed my last class as I was unwell.

I have learned alot.  I found the information on clearing my chest and what to eat for lung disease very informative.

I still work full time but I make myself walk to Asda and back every 2 days, about 2000 steps!

The only thing I did not like was arm punches lol.

Thanks team.

Dear outflowcm73

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback following your recent attendance with the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team at Stobhill ACH.

I'm sorry to hear you missed your last class as it sounds like you have really enjoyed and benefitted from the programme.

It is wonderful to hear you are setting yourself goals to walk every other day and monitoring your steps as well. Not always easy to fit in or find the motivation when working full time- well done.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is the single most important intervention in management of chronic lung disease. Improving your chest clearance can reduce chest infections and flare ups so it is great to hear you found this informative especially coming into the winter months where respiratory illnesses are on the rise.

We wish you well for the future.

Kind Regards

Fiona Galbraith
