"Very nice and thoughtful"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Outpatient Department

(as the patient),

I went for a tummy check and had to give blood and have an x-ray.

Dr Anita was very kind and very helpful.

Nurse Eleanor then took my blood, was very nice and thoughtful. I was worried and she was nice and also quick.

Thank you to all the Doctors and nurses who look after us.

Hello greengr99,

Thank you so much for your lovely message! We’re really glad you came in to have your tummy checked, and it’s great to hear that Dr Anita and Nurse Eleanor helped make things a bit easier for you.

It’s completely normal to feel a bit worried, especially when you’re having blood taken or going for an x-ray, but you were so brave! I’m really pleased that Eleanor was kind and quick, and that Dr Anita made you feel comfortable and cared for.

We’ve shared your kind words with the team, and they were all so happy to hear them. It means a lot when someone takes the time to say thank you.

We hope you’re feeling much better now, and we’re always here if you need us again.

Take care and keep being amazing!

Warm wishes,

Mhairi Stirrat
