"Not the best"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cardiothoracic (Heart and Lung) Ward

(as a relative),

Not very accommodating for young patients with young families. Didn't seem to be happy that toddler was in visiting her dad after a traumatic accident. Understand its a surgical ward but every other ward where my husband was in a worse state didn't mind our daughter coming to see her dad and was also told by his consultant that it will help his recovery. Unprofessional and rude. Also held back husband's discharge meds. Even though they said it was important that he came in for 9am to get his medication, but was told to wait an hour went back up still not ready. Staff full of attitude. Not really the type of staff we would want to look after us.

Dear Sengee14,

Thankyou for taking your time to post about your husbands experience on Care Opinion. I am sorry to hear about his accident and I can only apologise about his experience when he was in the ward.

In order to look further into the issue you describe, we would require more information and I would encourage you to consider contacting the feedback service to progress this.
